BUbusiness - Sales and Marketing Manager - IIM/ISB/IIT/NIT/BITS Our expanding company is seeking to hire a Sales and Marketing Manager to join our leadership team. You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for the operation for one of our organization's lines of business. Responsibilities : - Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding customer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals. - Promoting the company's existing categories and introducing new categories, brands and products. - Implementing new sales plans and advertising. - Identify specific prospects/partners to approach, communicate the specific value proposition for their business and establish long-term, successful partnerships. - Seller identification, onboarding and managing. Works with vendor management teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals. - Working with industry bodies, manufacturers, online sellers and negotiating terms of trade to get more business. - Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing, procurement and sales teams to meet sales, procurement and marketing human resource objectives. - Maintaining relationships with vendors, customers by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities. - Working with the CR team and reducing the gap between vendors and sellers. - Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions. Develop, implement and review sales and marketing policies and procedures. - Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values. - Engage the team in developing their understanding of Customer Experience and knowledge of what Customers actually need/expect. - Understanding customer requirements and business opportunities and implementing new categories and products. Requirements : - Deep understanding of and passion for e-commerce required. - Experience of working in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction required. - Experience in management may be advantageous. - Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing. - Strong analytical, organizational, and innovative thinking skills. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. - The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures. - Previous responsibility for strategic development, sales & account management, revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to command and manage a large team. - Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management. Qualifications and skills : - Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations and ability to manage and work under pressure situations - Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
