Role :

BrowserStack is looking for a Manager, Mergers and Acquisition/ Investor Relations. This role will report to the CEO, and is based in Mumbai. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on fund-raising, investment and partnership strategy, and all execution-related aspects.

Responsibilities :

- Drive all stages of the process including origination, valuation, due diligence, transaction execution and paperwork, integration, and investor relations and reporting.

Strategy and Origination :

- Support the CEO in developing fund-raising strategy for the organization.

- Think Big - develop a sound understanding of the key trends and identify potential opportunity areas for investments and partnerships.

- Lead deal origination by building deep ties across the startup ecosystem - entrepreneurs, VCs, bankers, accelerators/incubators, and other industry participants.

Valuation and Due Diligence :

- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and analyse opportunities, and present recommendations on strategic fit, optimal deal structure and transactional issues.

Transaction execution and integration :

- Engage with potential investors, evaluate term-sheets.

- Manage relationships with professional advisors including bankers, lawyers and consultants.

Presentation and Reporting :

- Create presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for presentation to investors, bankers, etc.

Requirements :

- Prior experience (6+ years) working with investment banks in technology vertical, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or corporate development team at a technology startup

- MBA Finance from Tier 1 B-schools/ CAs with strong academic credentials

- Sound understanding of the overall investment process including term sheets, due diligence and definitive documentation is a must

- A proven ability to manage mission-critical projects, work independently and often in ambiguous environments, and deliver under tight deadlines

- Understanding of the technology landscape preferably B2B SaaS

- Excellent written and oral communication skills (incl. Powerpoint presentations), and ability to manage multi-stakeholder relations

- Excellent data presentation and synthesis skills with attention to detail and the ability to quickly absorb and interpret large datasets
