Position Description: The Business and Relationship Management (BRM) Associate Director develops fee
business for the company and markets its products including bank loan ratings, issuer ratings, structured finance.
The clientele shall include a cross section of entities ranging from large and mid-size corporates, banks, FIs,
NBFCs, insurance, municipalities, state governments, mutual funds and investment banks. From the outset, the
individual will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with excellent opportunities for career
development. The role involves travel.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and execute target-driven marketing strategy
- Strengthen India Ratings’ brand through meetings with bankers, investors, sponsors and mutual funds
- Generate leads by networking actively with prominent investors
- Manage existing issuer relationships and secure new issuer/product mandates
- Carry out fee negotiations for both existing and new mandates
- Mentor junior BRM staff
Job Requirements:
- A sound understanding of debt capital markets and corporate credits
- Excellent communication skills to connect at senior management level
- Strong marketing, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Team spirit with an ability to mingle across cultures
- A self-starter with strong focus on revenue generation
Education and Experience:
Post graduate management qualifications from one of the top tier schools.
The role requires a 7-8 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
