British Council - Business Analyst - Operational Planning (7-12 yrs)

Role Purpose:

The role will be responsible for defining requirements for integrated Sales and Operations Planning dashboard, reporting performance against all key agreed Sales and Operations Planning metrics, including use of predictive modelling techniques to make recommendations to the business on how to bridge Demand and Supply gap and increase capacity to deliver ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities:

- Developing sound knowledge and understanding of the AS-IS Operational Planning processes and practices, including timetables for planning, start and end points of business and financial planning cycles and associated challenges faced by the Global Exams business.

- Proposing TO-BE models of Operational Planning aimed at addressing key challenges faced by the countries in the AS-IS ways of working, with the end goal of improving how Global Exams business responds to changing demand and enhances capacity to deliver ambitious growth targets.

- Providing all necessary support on reporting and analytics that enables global oversight of cross-product operational planning process performance on integrated Demand and Supply performance metrics.

- Providing thought leadership and inputs to set up the framework, standards, governance and key performance metrics for operational planning and working with regions and countries to develop capability and standards.

- Developing knowledge and understanding of industry best practices around integrated Sales and Operations Planning.

- Undertake detailed data gathering and analysis work to report out performance against all key agreed S&OP metrics.
