Position : Business Development Manager Supervisor's Position : National Sales Manager Department : Bread Position Overview ( Scope of the role & Outcomes) : - This position is expected to accelerate Britannia's growth & increase its competitive strength in one of the most strategic markets for Bread & fresh bakery offerings. The position is also expected to transform current Franchisee markets such that they become ideal for CP Operations. - This position will have additional responsibility to drive All India Modern Trade operations. - The position will closely work with manufacturing team to conceptualize and plan entire production plan. - The position would also work closely with Marketing team to plan out all consumer interventions by channel. Competencies : - Should have an understanding of channel S&D operations - Ideally would have worked across channels - Understanding of the Sales function in Bread/Perishable industry would be preferred - Negotiation Skills Key Responsibilities : - Responsible to drive Sales (all channels), Trade marketing and logistics - Be the first one to start Britannia owned operations in South India. Lay down Ideal distribution framework and footprint expansion plan for current markets. - Design & Implement GTM for all markets across channels (GT/MT/ACD/Ecommerce etc.) - Own entire sales, trade marketing initiatives and co-own consumer led initiatives along with marketing team - Responsible for Trade spends planning, execution and budgetary controls - Initiate and close Joint Business Plan for the year with all other Franchisee owned markets - Monitor & Review each of the KPIs agreed upon with franchisee for the financial year - Ownership of Topline of Company owned markets, profitability and royalty from franchisee markets - Own people agenda for the territory and work with HR for smooth operation - Explore New Business Opportunities in the given region and make and share business plan
