We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Delhi. In this role, you will manage the sales operations within your designated territory, build and maintain strong customer relationships, develop strategic sales plans, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. You will collaborate closely with the broader sales team and leadership to expand Brios footprint in the educational sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector (schools, colleges, coaching institutes).
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand client needs and provide consultative solutions based on Brios product portfolio.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure aligned customer messaging and effective sales execution.
- Provide timely and detailed feedback to leadership on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Track and report on sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare regular reports on sales forecasts, pipeline development, and achieved targets.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Guide, mentor, and support junior sales representatives in the area (if applicable).
- Ensure best practices are consistently implemented across sales activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must-Have:
- 6-8 years of proven experience in B2B/B2C sales roles, preferably in the education technology sector.
- Strong background in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, and sales target achievement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Prior experience selling Smart Classroom Solutions, Interactive Technologies, or EdTech products.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with sales reporting and data analysis.
