The focus of this role will be a Cybersecurity and Legal specialist to: - Ensure Data Protection and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation - Be a lead on Data Protection including personal data across Brillio practices - Drive user education and awareness in these key areas. - Champion Data Protection and Information Security across Brillio practices and increase Data protection understanding within the organization. - Drive best practice to ensure compliance, including design and management of a Document Management System to meet the needs of Data Protection and GDPR compliance - Lead on developing processes, policies and procedures in each of the areas of Data Protection &amp; Information Security. - Provide expert advice and guidance in line with Data Protection, GDPR &amp; Information Security regulations - Conduct Data Risk assessment and Risk Management program across the organization, including DPIA as needed. - Keep up to date with new developments including legal requirements - Act as the primary contact and maintain engagement with Brillio's Legal, Info.Sec teams, client Data Controller and the respective supervisory authorities. - Design and maintain incident and breach/data loss management processes. - Work closely with Legal Team to maintain necessary registration and other legislative/ regulatory requirements - Conduct Internal Audits and coordinate external client / regulatory audits w.r.t Data Protection and GDPR compliance. General : - Provide regular reports to the Brillio Senior Management Team, Legal and Information Security and Practice teams on compliance with the Data Protection and GDPR and associated risks. - Provide necessary training and guidance to staff, in particular to those who may take on the role in the longer term - Provide input to the wider development of the information governance strategy and business planning process - Develop and publish a document classification policy that meets Information Security and Data Protection requirements including retention in conjunction with the Head, Information Security.
