JOB DESCRIPTION
Designation: BI Analytics Manager
The Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will be the key member of the BI and App dev team reporting directly to Director. He or she will be responsible for managing big data and advanced analytics initiatives, data integration/engineering, business intelligence and data warehousing. The position requires building strong technical hands-on skills and experience as well as establishing close business relationships across the enterprise. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will establish and drive a long-term BI strategy and roadmap and manage increasing demand for advanced analytics. He will manage the full lifecycle of response to RFP/development/ ETL/reporting/ integration projects: planning, design, develop, testing and rollout.
Requirements
- 10+ years- experience with deep understanding of Business Intelligence and Embedded Analytics Solutioning
- Should have experience in managing a team of 15 to 20
- Must have the lead and managed end-to-end digital transformation, BI & Analytics projects in Tech/Manufacturing or BFSI or CPG/Retail or ecommerce
- Experienced in architecting holistic and futuristic BI solutions comprising (Data Lake/ Self Service BI/ Control Tower)
- Experienced in defining Implementation road-map and estimating effort accurately.
- Work with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization to bring in best in class solutions to the table and lead the function to grow. (SPOC for all BI needs of the organization.)
- 2+ years of experience in writing ETL packages using Talend or SSIS or ODI or Pentaho Kettle
- Ownership of Delivery, Account Management, and Pre-Sales activities
- In-depth understanding of Cloud/ Networking and Security Implementations
- Has a flair for Programming and a solid understanding of OOAD, OOP, MVC and Data Structures
- Has solid understanding Databases (SQL/NoSQL), ETL, Data Quality frameworks and Data Visualization
- Envisions the possibilities of AI being married to BI and intends to build tangible assets around the same
- Has capability and intention to roll-up his/her sleeves and do hands-on in the need of the hour
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies
- Fine blend of technical and management skills. Expertise in communication and storytelling.
