Brescon - Vice President - Structured Credit & Recapitalization (8-12 yrs)

Job Objective :

- Originate & source structured investment and distressed and hi-yield opportunities by investing in senior debt, mezzanine or hybrid/equity instruments

- Assist Partner in developing a distressed management and corporate advisory business

- Coordinate and integrate the SCRF transactions with the other Brescon Businesses

- Manage analyst/associate team in for delivery of mandates

Key Responsibilities :

- Identify key markets, sectors, products and corporations for SCRF deals

- Originate structured investment opportunities

- Structure, coordinate, oversee and execute transactions and ensure that consistent standards are adhered to

- Make recommendations for new opportunities to Managing Partner & Partners

- Work seamlessly with the Associate/Analyst team

Relationships candidate must carry :

- Corporate relationships

- Banks,

- Partners in professional firms,

- Financial Institution Heads,

- NPL Heads,

- Distressed Debt Investors/Investment Banks

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum MBA or CA from a reputable University

- Excellent English communication skills

- 8-12 years in leading commercial or investment bank

- Proven track record in making substantial profits in financial institutions

- Experience in managing teams and developing businesses

- Product experience in distressed, corporate, structured, project finance

- Valuation and investment experience

- Substantial credit and documentation experience

- Private Credit, Distressed experience preferred

- Ability to travel up to 75% of time

- Self motivated

- Ability to work under pressure

- Independent and decisive
