Role / Position Title : Brand Manager/Product Manager Department/Function : Marketing Location : Mumbai, India POSITION SUMMARY : - To independently manage the assigned product portfolio and execute all brand activities in line with the agreed business and brand strategy. - To assist Head of marketing on NPD for an identified category in line with the business objective. OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsibility Results Expected/ Target : 1. Marketing Plans : Formulate marketing plans in line with the marketing strategy. Monitor Brand health, Brand performance in line with Marketing plan Execute the brand marketing plans in line with business requirements 2. New Product Development : Assist Head of marketing on assigned NPD projects and own the new product development cycle Execution excellence to deliver the NPD on time 3. Agency Management : Conceptualize and initiate relevant market researches. Initiates relevant briefs to the creative & media agencies for creation & execution of brand communication as per agreed brand plans. Effective and efficient brand activities development and implementation to achieve business objectives 4. Go to Market : Design and develop the Trade collaterals to help build the brand in trade and support key launches Develop high quality and innovative solutions for launches Education : - MBA (Full Time and with Marketing Specialization) and Graduate in any discipline - Experience Minimum 3-8years - Experience in FMCG, with hands-on exposure to NPD, New Launches, Consumer Research, Communication Development, digital and Brand Activations. - At least 1-year Brand/Product Manager experience is desirable. Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical) : - Media relations, Marketing Strategy, Branding, Sales, Consumer Behaviour, Customer focus, Cost focus. - Leadership / Managerial Attributes - Planning & organizing, Communication & networking, Creative, Analytical ability, Proactive, Result oriented
