Brand Manager - Platinum Guild International We have been mandated by our client to look for a dependable Brand Manager to help with 360 degree communication and brand marketing efforts of the organization. Headquartered in HongKong, our client operates in India, China, UK, and Japan. In India, operations span across the country with head office in Mumbai and regional offices in Chennai and Noida. Role Type: Individual Contributor Office Location: Bandra West (Mumbai) Working Days: 5 days a week (work from office) Position Summary This position strives to gain an understanding and influence opinion and consumer behavior of the product, through Integrated marketing efforts with a strong role for digital. The incumbent will oversee the all marketing initiatives for 2 of it's sub brands ensuring the brands reach greater heights Roles and Responsibilities Overall - Is the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects. - Plans, implements, and executes successful consumer and trade marketing programs (includ-ing brand strategic planning, campaign planning, media deployment). - Contributes to annual brand planning process. - Sets brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables. - Leads the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, and other marketing vehicles. - Utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in marketing initiatives Research and Reporting - Staying on top of brand performance & suggesting corrective measures required to align with set objectives/ approach/ tasks/ brand requirements by working closely with agencies. - Monitoring performance of digital & mainline initiatives carried out in order to course cor-rect with varying creative or media inputs where required - Tapping into emerging digital & mainline opportunities (identifying new formats, consumer insights, trends, content types, mediums, communities to tap into) for both brands & building them into the overall business - brand approach/ task seamlessly in consultation with brand lead - Initiating annual & quarterly reviews on brand, competition, campaign, always on so as to evaluate, analyse & help give the brand direction while measuring progress against set objectives. Leading and Managing - Asset & brand health analysis via digital performance on GA/other measurement formats & brand track - Implementation & execution of marketing programs for both brands in sync with the strategy , aid & shape creative development to meet business objectives. Direct media inputs & lead creative implementation across media including the approval process & de-ployment post approval - Inspire, partner, motivate, guide, brief, liaise, evaluate and share feedback with the agency on creative & content development for all mediums (digital + mainline + BTL) - Create amplification & support plans for programs/ initiatives that are led by Digital media or a mix of traditional/digital/BTL - Documentation and budget management - Devising & successfully implementing plans on taking retail opportunities further with partners - Striving for work that is a on top on quality expectations, brand tone of voice, guidelines, aligned to best practices. The ability to understand, analyze & cull out insights from digital & brand track metrics gathered. - Knowledge of important digital tools & measurement metrics - Website analytics, social media analytics (Google Analytics), listening tools, Search - Networking with agencies, publishers, other important stake holders to extract whats best for our brands & business - Make partnerships work in a collaborative manner so that the business & brand benefits - Monitor work done finely & mine back those learnings & insights into work the follows Education & Experience - MBA in marketing /A communication centric degree - any certification in digital marketing - Total work experience of 4-6 years - Worked in marketing in a brand management role OR at a digital agency OR at a full service main-line agency but with digital experience stated above - Has worked with creative teams in any earlier role - Proven success and track record with ideas - Experience with handling brands from lifestyle, high end youth fashion, luxury - Young, Auto - Young, Technology - Phones industry
