Brand Manager - FMCG/Consumer Durable/Building Material/Paint/Telecom - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI (3-5 yrs)

Job purpose :

- Brand-building, New Product Development, Brand Management, Brand Communication and outreach

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

- Implement branding/marketing initiatives to augment consumer enquiry and market demand.

- Should have experience in NPD, Consumer Research, Consumer Insight.

- Handle brand communication and development of - brand creatives-, jointly with relevant agencies

- Explore, identify, evaluate, propose, execute and make use of hi-reach and hi-impact opportunities to enhance brand standing in consumer mindspace

- Explore new ideas and brand innovations

- Update internal teams on new consumer trends, highlight novel ways of consumer outreach, new opportunities that the brand can leverage to differentiate itself from competition

- Manage day-to-day brand operations, including requisite processes on internal systems

- Work on brand plan, activity calendar, brand analytics

- Work on budgeting, allocate brand spends, provision, track, optimize

- Enable brand content development, for use on multiple media

- Actively drive brand engagement on social media

- Drive website visits

- Help enhance brand presence on the web, through desk and handheld devices

- Drive uniform brand identity and brand communication mandatories, across the country

- Regularly communicate with internal teams, and update employees on branding initiatives

- Support regional offices in branding initiatives, on-ground activation, rural marketing and more

- Interact with National Branding Team, Sales and Service, Marketing and Field teams, Plant, R&D, Product, support functions and any department that requires branding support; within HO and with any of our offices across the country

- Maximum interaction with creative agency and digital agency for brand ideation, execution, brand maintenance. Will also interact with other support agencies like media, research, outdoor, etc.

- Travel on market visits, customer/consumer/employee interactions, research, training and more

Qualifications and Experience :

- Education: Post-graduate/MBA from a Premier B- School.

- Experience: 3-5 years in a branding/brand management role

- Industry Preference - FMCG/Consumer Durable/Building Material/Paint/Telecom
