Brand Manager - FMCG/Consumer Durable (5-8 yrs)
Brand Manager
Purpose of the role : This role is responsible for managing all areas related to product management, brand management, media deployment, market research and communication.
Responsibilities :
Market Research & Strategies :
- Study the market trends in terms of retail audit and consumer off take data to identify brand need gapfit
- Devise and implement marketing strategies for the brand , identify research needs , provide necessary brief to MR and implement actions based on findings
- Conduct market research to test 4Ps of marketing and monitoring the performance of implemented strategies.
Media Deployment :
- Brief and coordinate with media buying agency for development of media campaigns
- Develop consumer promotions and monitor their ROI
- Design , implement and monitor various BTL activities and activations for the brand
- Identify appropriate media channels to deliver message in a cost effective manner
New Product & Packaging Development & Launch :
- Through market study of trends and emerging segments, identify the latest consumer needs, growth opportunities for consumer franchise through launch of new and innovative flavours & products while working closely with the R&D department
- Write appropriate briefs to communication and R&D teams for NPD launches
- Understand the consumer requirements and develop a competitive value proposition for the customers through packaging, R&D, Sales & distribution departments
- Costs & P&L, Communication Development, Sales & Distribution, Brand Strategy
