Brand Manager - FMCG (5-8 yrs)

Brand Manager

Role Purpose

The Brand Manager is responsible for :

- Building and maintenance of consistent brand identity and ensure the brand stays true to its values and positioning.

- Translating brand strategies into go-to-market strategies and its execution in order to increase market share.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead creative development and create a motivating stimulus to attract targeted population to - take actions.

2. Liaising with art designers, media buyers, PR agencies, research agencies and printers to ensure consistency with brand strategy.

3. Supervising the sign-off of product packaging, marketing literature, and campaigns ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines.

4. Monitor the production of TV ad, print ads, photo shoots, videos and events, campaigns (print, digital, social media, etc.), websites, exhibitions, displays.

5. Manage & control Marketing budget; measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Execute marketing plans on time and with excellence.

Additional Responsibilities :

1. Ensuring that the existing and new products resonate with current and potential customers.

2. Monitoring market trends and competition and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits.

3. Meeting General Trade and Modern Trade customers.

4. Carrying out brand studies/research

5. Brainstorm new and innovative communication strategies.

Professional Experience and Education :

- At least 6 - 8 years brand management or marketing communication management experience, ideally in FMCG non-food.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in team leadership

- Education: MBA (Marketing) Full Time

- Knowledge in Brand Marketing (copy development, consumer insights, media planning)

- Knowledge of the local Market, Consumer, and Clients

- Ideally knowledge in Category Management, Shopper understanding, and outlet management,

- Fluent in English

- Knowledge of relevant software tools (MS Office etc.)
