Brand Manager - eCommerce Startup - IIM/IIT/ISB

About the company and Role

Founded in Nov 2017, this startup is a fast growing e commerce company that aims to service and fundamentally recast the offline buying behaviour of every single digital Indian in the domain of daily essentials and groceries.

The founding team comes with deep experience in building and executing highly scalable mobile products as well as significant first hand experience in retail, FMCG and grocery. The start up is looking for a founding team member.

What you'll be doing

- Developing new categories within the brand along with KRA responsibilities and Profit & Loss responsibility.

- Consumer Insight mining to get new product ideas with a strategic fit to our business

- Managing a cross-functional team to deliver on new launch, promotion and renovation networks for the brand X

- Trade Marketing: Partner with the Sales team in devising strategic trade initiatives & trade-related activities

- Analyzing & reviewing market response/requirement and strategizing product plans for accomplishing business goals.

- Monitor market share performance of brand across various markets and implement area specific plans

- Monitoring and analyzing a brand and competitors performance to identify Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats

- Deliver on Market shares, budgets & business goals

- Ensuring profit targets are achieved, margins maintained & expenses controlled. "

Who we are looking for

- MBA from a premier institute with 2-6 years of experience preferably across offline and online businesses.

- Brand Manager with prior experience in sales having strong exposure to mass market buying behavior as well as keen insight into behavior across Retail chains.
