Role / Position Title : Brand Manager Department/Function : Marketing Location : Gurgaon, India POSITION SUMMARY : - To lead the formulation, development and implementation of marketing and communication plan for the product - to create brand awareness and brand recall to attract potential customers and retain existing customers OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Marketing Strategy : - Work with the research agencies to undertake market research to understand the consumer trends, competitor insights brand positioning, etc. to identify areas of focus to develop a point of view of the brand strategy - Liaison with the agencies to develop the annual brand plan for the product aligned to the identified focus areas and business requirements - Assist Head of Marketing to develop the marketing annual operating plan and calendar aligned to the product / category/Sale plan - Work on annual sponsorship / brand association properties that enhance the brand and build a deeper level connect. Brand Management : Brand planning - Provide the brief to the appropriate agencies for the development of the brand plan as per the marketing calendar (digital plan, media plan, etc.) - Review and provide recommendations to ensure that the plan is aligned to the requirements and budget - Develop the detailed project plan and timelines for execution and monitoring Brand Management : Brand plan execution - Review the creatives developed by the advertising agency and provide recommendations to ensure its alignment with the brand and provide necessary approvals. - Ensure that the production of creatives is as per the guidelines and monitor the execution of the plan in the identified channels as per the agreed scope of work in liaison with the appropriate agencies - Develop the content for the digital media in liaison with the creative agency and ensure that contents are updated by the digital agency as per the plan Brand Management : Retail Marketing / Consumer In sighting - Liaison with the Sale team and the appropriate agencies to co-develop the plan for generating consumer walk ins - Drive the execution of the BTL activities as per the agreed plan and provide recommendations as required for the achievement of stated target Brand Management : Performance evaluation - Evaluate the effectives of the executed plan with regard to the reach, engagement, brand awareness, etc. and recommend suitable course correction mechanisms in case of deviations from the envisaged plan and targets General Management : Vendor Management - Review and finalise on the agencies / celebrities based on their suitability / offerings / expertise / specifications to best partner with the firm based on the business context and requirements - 5-7 years on brand communication role - At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing. (Lifestyle/Retail/Personal care/Cosmetic) Skills Required : - Thinks big / Unconventional/ Out of the box thinking - Business knowledge - Entrepreneurial bent of mind. - Nurture relationship - Influence for impact - Accountability - Believes in people, a strong team player - Curious - Is passionate about categories and products. - Ability to influence in cross functional forums.
