Brand Manager - Consumer Packaged Goods (4-5 yrs)

Our Client is one of the fast growing organization in b2b business in Food products and expanding to core categories with diversified product range catering to wide spectrum of Consumer Packaged Products like staples, RTE, RTC, Value added products and Confectionery.

They are looking for dynamic Marketing Talents with couple of years selling and minimum Three plus years of Brand Management experience especially in Food and Beverages of from Good FMCG companies having excellent Brand recall.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for top line and bottom line for product group which would include launching new products

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:

- Manage a set of products with clear direction on extensions within the defined set

- Prepare quarterly plans for the products to achieve revenue goals, margin objectives and enabling sales performance through marketing programs

- Define product-outlet mapping and enable product mix sell-in's to deliver on right NOB and margins.

- Develop sales enabling material for field, retail and facilitate training

- Monitoring product performance through the quarter and initiate course corrections for meeting the objectives

- Design the research brief and work with agency to regularly get consumer insights for sharpening new product development

- Working closely with New product development team to launch products in time

- By providing the right brief to the advertising agency for ensuring sharper communication

- Ensuring all marketing programs designed are project-managed for going live on time and also monitored for results against defined objectives

- Constantly monitor the market and create intelligence around competition, trends, consumer preference to spot new opportunities

- Through periodic field visits with sales and structured consumer contacts identify product/promotions opportunities

- Deliver on the communication plan working in tandem with the marketing services team

- Review obsolete product stocks and support in time liquidation

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

- 3-4 years - experience in consumer goods industry

- Ability to collaborate and work with different teams

- Highly analytical and has worked with large amounts of data to extract deep insights on trends and spot opportunities.

- Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills, with independent ownership and result orientation

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to plan and manage a variety of projects

- High integrity

Key Performance Indicators:

- Delivering the budget for the products

- Margin goals for the product

- Marketing programs effectiveness

- Stock rotation goals

- New products revenue achievement

Must have Technical / Professional Qualification:

- MBA with Marketing from a Reputed Institute.

- Field sales experience for at least an year
