Brand Head - Innovations - FMCG - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI (7-10 yrs)
Title :- Brand Head - FMCG
Purpose of the Role :
To meet the strategic agenda on innovation and build a future fit extension for a flagship portfolio. To develop, establish and drive marketing strategies through effective management of advertising and promotional activities to meet the brand objectives in line with long-term category strategy.
Qualification & Experience :
- 2010 to 2013- Batch
- 5-6 Years of Marketing experience in innovation and building extensions. Have worked on brand planning and master brand repositioning.
- Strong understanding of all the pivots of brand management
- Sound knowledge of brand key - Brand Creation and Brand Architecture
Key Deliverables of the Role:
- Developing and implementing a category strategy to deliver against established goals
- Building strategic consumer understanding & developing best practices / playbooks for unlocking key levers for growth like premiumization & new category development
- Creating and building a future fit portfolio through emerging channels like E-com, MT, Beauty & chemist channel
- Identify opportunities for growth which involves forecasting consumer foresight and insights and any opportunities and/or threats emerging from the competitive or technology landscape
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to develop new brand/product bundles and establish viability of the same
- Develops suitable launch brand mix (4-Ps) and Go-To-Market plans
- To define new product pricing and to set the pricing ladder to guide delivery of required contribution
- Establish strategies related to product launches, media releases, PR, advertising & agencies, design agencies, budgets and MIS
- Create brand/product level business plan with volume, gross margins and overall profitability
