Job Summary:
The role of a Brand Head is very critical in creating the brand strategy & roadmap for the organization. We need to create a strong platform for a long-term perspective to create the highest level of brand equity amongst all its stakeholders i.e. Drivers, Corporates, the end users, SMEs/ MSMEs, Investors & Employees.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to define the Brand Purpose for each of the sub verticals within logistics and finance
- Road map for a tailored positioning, keeping in mind the varied target audience.
- Assist in Customer segmentation process & create segment-wise competition/industry mapping
- Assist in brand strategy development
- Drive primary & secondary research to capture the essence of stakeholders & create patterns to derive appropriate communication strategy.
- Execute insights-based communication & campaign strategy in alignment with overall Marketing/ organization strategy to engage all stakeholders - internal and external both.
- Writing & developing insights led agency briefs with Brand Head.
- Create appropriate & cost-effective media planning strategy & media buying to disseminate content & communication - for corporate, its end users and internal delivery team
- Ensuring purpose driven unified brand experience across all touchpoints for maximum brand recall & engagements.
- Run Brand Score & NPS mechanism at appropriate intervals
- Act as a liaison between marketing leadership, Digital Business, Logistics business & finance teams and with the digital team, to support in-market positioning, activation & collateral.
- Assist in drafting PR strategy and build brand's thought leadership
- Create annual marketing plan & budget planning.
- On-boarding appropriate marketing agencies & vendors to deliver world class output at optimum cost.
- Create marketing SOPs to build a process driven culture.
Skill set requirements:
- MBA - Marketing from Tier-1 or Tier-2 MBA school with minimum 8 years of experience in Brand planning/ Strategic Planning role in Agency or Client Side with relevant case studies.
- Target industry segments - Durables, automobiles, Ecommerce, Logistics, Digital marketing, Aggregator platforms
- Exceptionally strong in written & verbal communication skills, including Hindi
- Highly analytical, insights driven, passion for numbers, with some exposure to dealing with agencies and production houses.
- Marketing thinker with a proven ability to solve complex communication/ marketing problems.
- Ability to spot key industry and other Macro economic trends & see the big picture while still paying attention to details for fine execution.
- Someone who is passionate about brand personality & know how to communicate it, through effective campaigns.
- Strong presenter - able to articulate the plan & get buy-in from his/her peer levels across other business and support fiunctions within the group.
- Confidant facilitator - comfortable running workshops across the ecosystem or facilitating the focus groups.
- A background or recent exposure to digital would be beneficial.
