Brand Finance Manager - FMCG - CA (5-14 yrs)

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Serve as business co-pilot to brand team, providing insights to business results and drivers of variances vs plan and prior year

- Participate in the brand strategy development process and ensure the commercial plan is executed in line with the overall company strategy.

- Execute the forecast and plan for brand and innovation spending to ensure alignment with monthly business planning and dynamic forecast.

- Leverage financial reporting to provide insights to drivers of variances vs plan and prior year.

- Assist in driving cross-functional team (incl. Packaging Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, and Sales) to develop and execute key business initiatives, ranging from new items, renovations and demand driving initiatives; including high level of collaboration, consolidating information and presenting to Senior Leadership.

- Participate in Integrated Commercial Planning process, supporting key brand initiative implementation within retail channels.

- Support monthly brand reviews, analyzing and diagnosing market share/shipment performance to be presented to appropriate leadership and stakeholders. This includes identifying key root causes, trend analysis and developing actionable recommendations.

- Improve Brand Team business acumen through training and ongoing financial analysis

- Custodian of internal controls and assurance that marketing spend practices comply with internal and external guidelines.

Qualifications:

Key qualifications include:

- Prior experience in finance, accounting or economics specific roles (experience in Co-Piloting function preferred)

- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required

- Prior experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Company preferred

- High level of proficiency with financial planning/forecasting management tools preferred

- Strong financial modeling skills required with a high level of proficiency in Excel

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of multi-tasking and comfortable under pressure

- Outstanding organizational and follow up skills

- Demonstrated commitment to leadership development, coaching and feedback
