- Provide strategic direction to the ASMs thereby driving growth for respective channels.
- Facilitate growth and ensure deliveries of Marketing plans
- Analyze, monitor and develop strategies to enhance distribution reach through RTM
- Develop specific strategies for different trade segments and ensure optimum utilization of Trade Marketing resources
- Ensuring commercial hygiene compliance, forecast accuracy
- Coaching and developing the sales team to improve competencies and effectiveness in the areas of Customer Management / Meeting Effectiveness and Field Implementation.
- Managing stockist and trade relationship by anticipating proactively and resolving issues, minimizing stockist and field force attrition.
- Monitor competitor activity - anticipate and develop strategies to counter competition's efforts
- Facilitate compliance to corporate guidelines on Sales Systems and processes through active communication and control mechanisms.
To fit the bill, you must have:
- MBA / PGDM (Full time only)
- 5-10 years experience in sales, business development, operations, relationship building, strategic planning, channel management and team management in the FMCG sector.
- Strong people management & negotiation skills.
