Job Description:
Enhancement of Deposit Pool:
- Develop strategies to increase the deposit base from customers.
- Implement initiatives to attract new deposits and retain existing depositors.
Service Standards:
- Establish and maintain high standards for service delivery within the branch.
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and their needs are met effectively.
Non-Deposit Product Sales:
- Achieve cross-selling targets for non-deposit products such as loans, credit cards, wealth management products, etc.
- Promote and sell Mutual Fund and Insurance products to meet revenue goals.
Fee Income Generation:
- Drive revenue generation through various fee-based services offered by the branch.
- Monitor and increase fee income from services like remittances, demand drafts, etc.
Branch Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks including cash management, security, and facilities maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and internal controls.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and guidelines set by regulatory authorities.
- Implement compliance measures related to KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and other regulatory standards.
Personnel Management:
- Manage and motivate branch personnel to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development programs for staff.
Financial Performance:
- Take overall responsibility for the branch's Profit & Loss (P&L) and break-even targets.
- Implement cost-control measures and revenue enhancement strategies to achieve financial goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of banking products and financial services, including deposit products, loans, mutual funds, and insurance.
- Sales and Cross-Selling: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to achieve cross-selling targets and drive revenue growth.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and managerial skills to oversee branch operations and lead a team effectively.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and building strong customer relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, performance metrics, and market trends to make informed decisions.
