Role: Quantitative Analyst/Quantitative Researcher

Team: Quantitative Research and Trading

The Team: The team is involved in building and trading fully automated Mid and Low Frequency Quantitative strategies targeted for Indian Markets with the objective of generating superior risk adjusted returns using firms own capital.

We are currently active in equities, futures and options. The objective is to scale up in the segments we are active in and build capabilities across other market segments and global markets.

Your role within the team:

- Your main objective is to create high quality predictive signals.

- You are expected to work across the entire lifecycle of a strategy; cleaning of raw data, building strategies/alphas using processed data, discuss back testing results, methodology, processes with other Quantitative Researchers and Quantitative Traders. Taking the strategy into the live environment either independently or with the help of developers.

- Building tools, analytics to monitor performance of your strategies and existing strategies which are live and suggest improvements.

- It is an individual contributor role, with the expectation of both working independently and in collaboration with other Researchers and Traders.

Your current skillset/background/experience:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative field such is statistics, mathematics, physics or engineering from IIT's or similar institutes.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within a similar profile at Prop trading desks or Hedge fund setups.

- Coding skills required in at least one leading programming language (Python, C#, C++)

- Intellectual curiosity to explore data sets, solve complex problems, and develop better understanding about financial markets.
