Purpose of the role:

1. Close tracking and monitoring of operational and business performance, including revenues, expenses and business overheads

2. Making available timely and meaningful MIS on financial results, key financial metrics and variance analysis to the senior management

3. Assist head of finance in preparation, review and discussions on reports, variance analysis and budget working for various projects

4. Preparation of annual and Long-Range Plans, and regular re-estimates

List of requirements:

1. IIT/NIT and MBA, or CA and MBA

2. 5-7 years- experience, preference in corporate financial planning and analysis role, start-up experience preferred.

3. Experience in planning, analysis and commercial support, financial systems implementation, financial reporting, budgeting, pricing and AOP

4. Hands-on experience with general ledger systems, budgets and financial planning and analysis processes

5. Fluency in written and spoken English

6. Individual must demonstrate go-getter attitude, proactiveness, leadership qualities and be willing to take a hands-on approach

7. Advanced technical skills with proficiency in MS office applications, financial systems and general ledger

8. Strong analytical skills, structured and accurate

9. Strong communication skills both written and oral, ability to articulate business models to stakeholders and board members/investors

10. Presentation skills

11. Solid business partner with the ability to dialogue, communicate at all levels

12. Trustworthy, ability to deal with confidential information

13. Experience with SQL is a strong plus

List of Responsibilities:

1. Close tracking and monitoring of operational and business performance, including revenues, expenses and business overheads

2. Providing timely and meaningful MIS on financial results, key financial metrics and variance analysis to the senior management

3. Assist head of finance in preparation, review and discussions on reports, variance analysis and budget working for various projects

4. Preparation of annual and Long-Range Plans, and regular re-estimates

5. Providing relevant comments on business outlooks, backlog forecasts

6. Providing ad hoc information and analysis as required

7. Monthly review of Profit & Loss statement and local management reporting

8. Presenting the above information in succinct manner to multiple stakeholders.

9. Establish and lead from a business finance perspective a specific vertical of company

10. Prepare financial forecasts, detailed budget plans and risk analyses with Biz Fin head/CEO etc

11. Provide thought leadership on financial architecture and resource allocation decisions.

12. Lead long-term financial and strategic planning, including process development, modelling and presentation creation

13. Create new and improve current revenue forecast models and provide ongoing tracking and analysis on various forecasts. Provide analyses and insights to optimize revenue streams.

14. Guard the company's financial stability, develop yield efficiencies and cost control measures
