Assistant Manager -Sourcing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source and procure raw materials, components, and equipment needed for production.

2. Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.

3. Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers to ensure optimal value for the organization.

4. Monitor market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities related to material sourcing.

5. Work with internal teams to forecast material needs, establish inventory levels, and monitor stock levels.

6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.

7. Manage supplier performance by tracking delivery times, quality levels, and customer service.

8. Collaborate with internal teams, such as production and quality control, to ensure material quality meets established standards.

9. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities related to material sourcing.

10. Maintain accurate records and reports related to material sourcing activities.


1. Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years of experience in material sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

3. Experience of working with Chinese Suppliers and familiarity with Chinese ecosystem

4. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.

6. Experience in contract management and vendor relationship management.

7. Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain operations.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

10. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
