Title: Senior Specialist- People Connect  Function: Human Resources  Location: Mumbai  Reports to: Team Leader  Contact Point: Human Resources, Business Services  POSITION SUMMARY  The individual will be a key member of People connect team and shall report to the Team Leader Affiliation.  Responsibilities include planning and implement firm-wide engagement plans with a focus on better affiliation quotient for staff. Work with the People team leadership to design and successfully implement the engagement calendar.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -   People connect :  - Support Offsite agenda & overall planning  - Leverage events to create and sustain dialogue around engagement  - Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, based on feedback, stakeholder engagement, trend analysis, etc  - Provide end to end support in events and offsite planning - work with admin, travel, production and finance team  Partner (Leadership) connect :  - Create leadership connect calendar and keep Partners honest on their commitment to establishing connections with their team more informally - in and out of office  - Work with EAs to charter out connect time on their calendar  - Publish partner connect scorecard on quarterly basis  Case Team Outings :  - Establish a recurring communication pattern for CTO for case teams - prompting them to plan one  - Design and run feedback mechanism on CTO through verbal communication and survey feedback  - Benchmark and revisit the existing design to make CTO experiential  Digital model (Social media) :  - Deployment of a social media system for India offices  - Platform that enables employee to stay connected - firm-wide communication, message boards, interest groups, people news etc  - Regular update of the platform post launch  - Troubleshooting with help of IT team etc  - Enabling natural affiliation through Fridays in office  - Birthday/promotion / new hire celebrations  - Case team/cohort tournaments  - Cohort lunches/evening drinks planned with O/P/PL  - Structured formal events :  a) Office update (new policies etc.)  b) Functional Area / Case team update  c) Partner town hall  Engagement analytics & reportings :  - Tracking and maintain all invoices and costs around events  - Attendance monitoring of cohort-specific events  JOB REQUIREMENTS  - Highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi- task and manage a variety of responsibilities  - Should have at least 3-4 years of HR experience Should have an MBA from a reputed school known for HR  - Excellent oral and written English language communication skills  - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)  KEY COMPETENCIES :  - Experience interacting with all levels of management/staff and across organizational lines.  - Experience implementing diverse and high impact HR initiatives to support organizational objectives  - Experience in employee engagement, social media/digital platform, and event management Communications Skills   - A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications  WORK ENVIRONMENT  - Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexible to enhance the business and in keeping with BCG's values and culture.  - Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential.  - It is necessary to have the ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple cultures.  - Ability to work remotely and autonomously.  CAREER GROWTH  BCG has a well-laid career framework for the HR Senior Specialist - Training & Affiliation position.
