The HR Shared Service manages the employee Reward service for the BT divisions worldwide. Functional Experts work with the HR teams in the business to set strategy, develop processes and ensure effective governance of the Reward framework.

The role of the Reward function is to ensure that employees are Rewarded in a manner that attracts them to, and retains and motivates (AR & M) them while with Bombardier. The Reward function will also manage the delivery of the solutions, be it establishing a new remuneration package, managing the pay reviews and incentive cycles or handling compensation or benefits queries.

The Reward role holder is responsible for the routine reward activity for a particular country or small region. In general the role holder will work to predefined working patterns (grading, benchmarking, transfer costing and condition preparation) or through close supervision for non standard activities.

The Reward role holder is also responsible for the preparation and delivery of local and executive salary reviews and BT incentive calculations with respect to country/region or division.

The Reward Analyst in the HR Shared Service operations centre support these processes, handling service requests and queries from all parties to Reward - from suppliers to employees and managers.

Cases may be benchmarking research to support changes to the reward standards in a country, individual job evaluations where benchmarks already exist, or review of standard pay and benefits changes to ensure they comply with policy guidelines. Where Internal transfers or third parties are involved in the case, the job holders are responsible for progress chasing and case maintenance.

The job holder will also project manage the implementation of global processes for the country cluster supported and work with the Functional Experts to ensure that any changes to reward in those countries are reflected in the work instructions, documentation and processes applied within the Shared Service Operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Reward Process

- Implementing Reward process changes.

- Process complex and non standard Reward transactions, complex query handling i.e. tax deductions, external supplier queries.

- Manage escalations to HRBPs, managers and third parties, as well escalated Reward queries from within different SSO work streams.

- Testing process, document or system changes and implementations.

- Advice and guidance to customers and HR Colleagues regarding Reward processes.

- Developing the system, process and documentation knowledge of the Reward Team.

- Have country, regional and divisional responsibility during annual cycles- from initial investigations to end data, letter delivery and payroll amounts delivery.

- Participate in annual SEIP activity.

- Standard Reward reporting. Data analysis, statistics and consolidation.

2. Process/ Country Expertise

- Develop, share, manage and support the Reward process implementation for a country cluster.

- Train and share knowledge to new team members, or other parties.

- Understand country regulations; ensure changes are applied to the Reward processes in partnership with HRBPs.

- Provide salary recommendation, internal and/or external benchmarks, position grading.

- Coordinate Reward annual cycles for allocated countries, region and division, for individual, team, projects and reward results. Executives, Managers and white collars fall into standard Analyst annual cycle's scope. Blue collar employees are included in annual salary review, in certain countries. Countries and Employee's categories, for reward annual cycle process, are to be communicated yearly to the Analyst, as well allocation of countries in responsibility, as per scope definition.

- Handle and provide solution for CMT requests for White collars and Managers, for countries in scope, as communicated by Reward Director. Requests may consist in grading, benchmark, Factsheets producing, benefit queries handling only for agreed countries. Executive employees and GTM cases are handled by Reward Specialist and will be therefore escalated. Blue collars employees are handled by Hr Team or local HRBP, as agreed in SSO scope definition.

- Support the Reward Functional Experts with analyzes and developing reports on specific cases.

- Update of working documentation and instructions. Create FAQs. Communication to relevant stakeholders in lead or main contributed (part of) projects.

- Work with reward support tools and systems, i.e. Factsheet generator, SAP Global, HR Connect, Business Warehouse, CMT, salary survey and benefit providers.

- Contributes to team effort by performing relevant activities and accomplishing related results as needed.

3. Customer Service

- Ensure that all aspects of work are completed to deadlines.

- Ensure that all services delivered meet general time and quality requirements.

- Escalate/redirect out of scope queries and requests/ work ways to integrate within scope if relevant.

- Ensure effective communication and customer focused behavior to enhance customer satisfaction requirements.

- Pro-actively use of the Case Management Tools to deliver Customer requests.

- Take part in customer satisfaction reviews and projects.

- Enhance use of the Case Management Tool with FAQs and process development.

4. Project Activities

- Participate in projects to develop, improve, standardize actual and new processes, standards and activities, in own tasks and by working in projects, to continuously improve service delivery.

- Participate or coordinate Reward projects, either for scope extension, or review& improve current activities.
