Job Description :


- Group COO would be fully responsible for the Business Operations, Revenue Growth, operational profitability (EBITA) and Performance Excellence across the Retail, FMCG, Real Estate, Pharma Wholesale & Water Theme Park businesses of BNB.

- Experience in management of large P&Ls, Domain Knowledge in Retail and Consumer Businesses, Business Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Market research, Finance Management, Data & Analytics, Supply Chain & Logistics, People Management, Stakeholder Management

PRIMARY/ SHORT TERM :

1. Creation of operational development blueprint of the Group Businesses.

2. Run P&L management, Review budget forecasts across all businesses

3. Identify and secure resources

4. Setting up of operations in new mandated geographical areas of expansion

5. Drive business development strategy of the group in line with group goals. Identify areas of growth.

6. Drive employee engagement and leadership development

7. Establish best practices for sustainability & growth of operations

8. Promote Group's Vision

9. Design and implement standard business processes.

SECONDARY/ LONG TERM :

1. Establish international standards in running businesses.

2. Timely evaluation of all businesses & meet their Operational needs.

3. Implement changes, induce new strategies & do innovation based for overall improvement, performance, growth & revenues

4. Carry evaluation and Implementation of latest Technologies post cost-benefit analysis. Drive operations efficiency.

5. Benchmark with competitors across all segments to create business USPs

6. Create a self-growing culture i.e., the culture which promotes the company's growth

7. Sustain and increase business margins

Duties & Responsibilities :

1. Business operations :

a. Plan short and long objectives for the business.

b. Drive development, review and refinement of the Company's business strategy, and execution of that strategy to obtain a leading position in the marketplace

c. Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner; both organically and through successful completion of mergers and acquisitions

d. Working with the management team to satisfy consumer needs, develop and nurture new and existing customers, partnerships, strategic alliances, and other market opportunities.

e. Provide high-level strategic and tactical leadership to the Board and the management team

2. P&L Management & Financial Forecasts :

a. Lead reviews of budgeting for individual businesses, planning for USD 700 million size organization

b. Tactfully drive allocation of funds for various resource needs during the set-up operations

c. Planning and forecasting on revenue generation

d. Maintaining & growing EBITA Margins / Return on Investment

3. Business Development Strategies :

a. Drive growth of the firms across different sectors - Retail, Pharma, FMCG, Real Estate, Lifestyle and Industries. Capture the needs of consumers and identify market gaps. Create new value propositions in products, geographies and sectors to capture growth of the market.

b. Drive investments for capability building and take complete ownership for delivery of new strategic projects.

c. Drive strong Brand building and Marketing plan for the group, creating awareness across all levels of the society.

4. Creating Effective supply chain management

a. Oversee Supply Chain i.e., Production, Procurement & Import practices and Logistics

b. Bring innovation in moving materials across the country. Drive synergies across businesses to bring cost of efficiency in moving inventory.

c. Drive lowest cost of operations across various business formats. Drive continuous cost reduction exercises across all businesses.

5. Inducing new strategies & practices for Customer satisfaction :

a. Customer Service management

b. After sales services

c. Feedback & response system

6. Elimination and Reducing of Risk of various Factors :

a. Internal Factors: Financial, Human resources, Assets, Intangible resource etc.

b. External Factors: Economic environment, Political environment, Legal environment, Socio-cultural environment, Technological environment, International environment etc.

7. Build Competitive Advantage :

a. Direct & Indirect Competitive Analysis

b. Research of other industries and environment trends & demands.

c. Study of Customer/ internal resource feedback & suggestions

8. Development (Technical & People) :

a. Identify and assess future and current operational training needs

b. Responsible for ensuring that the staff receives appropriate training and development

c. Ensure that the staff is trained for maintaining the customers satisfaction and consistent quality in all the services which are provided to the customers

d. Ensure that the staff is trained to maintain the operational standards in all the environmental conditions
