Job Title: Assistant Manager-Commercial Function : Finance  Position based at : Gurgaon  Reports To : Manager-Commercial  Scope : To develop monitor and implement procedure and policies in all facts of the business.  Education : MBA (either with Commerce or science stream)/B.Com/B.Tech ( Civil/ electrical/ Mechanical)  Experience Minimum 5 years  Job Specific :   Comments :  - Conduct organization & Business understanding & evaluation.  - Design systems & procedures, evaluate, recommend and approve changes of forms & reports.  - Conduct work simplification & measurement studies.  - Prepare operations & procedures manual to assist management in operating more efficiently & effectively.  - Train workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to purchase policy,  - Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for goods & services.  - Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price & in correct amounts  - Monitor & follow applicable laws & regulations.  - Research & evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production & distribution capabilities & the supplier's reputation & history.  - Negotiate, renegotiate & administer contracts with suppliers, vendors & other representatives,  - Analyze price proposals, financial reports & other data & information to determine reasonable prices.  - Maintain & review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance & inventories.  - Write & review product specifications, maintaining a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased.  - Formulate policies & procedures for bid proposals & procurement of goods & services.  - Evaluate & monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.  - Evaluate project/ IT buying.  Soft Skills required:  - Active Listener with sound understanding of commercial / legal terms & conditions  - Analytical & logical bend of mind  - Sound in decision making & judgment  - Management of financial resources  - Should able to communicate effectively with Seniors, Peers, subordinates & vendors  - Good in resolving conflicts & negotiating with others  - Should able to plan, organize & prioritize the work  - Prior experience in FMCG or Garment Industry would be preferred
