Bitstreet Technologies - Head - Legal (5-15 yrs)
- The incumbent shall act as Head of the Legal function at corporate level.
- Independently sphere-heading the corporate legal team
- Acting as in-house senior counsel for the group
- Ensuring legal compliance across locations and SBUs
- Managing agreements and drafting matters
- Rendering advice for planning the strategies & procedures to be followed in various projects/cases
- Managing litigations including pre-litigation analysis & research, communications, notices & preparation, including attending conferences with and briefing Senior Advocates
- Representing the organization for resolution of legal cases under various statutory acts/rules Identifying legal enterprise risk associated in each commercial contract and taking appropriate steps to mitigate the risks and also monitoring the Contract Management.
- Advising the Company on various Corporate legal issues relating to Labor Laws, Excise Laws & Income Tax Laws etc. Implement best practices on good corporate governance.
- Court matters representing the company before the Courts of law; Cases follow up, liaisoning with an advocate, drafting plaints and notices.
- To ensure compliances of the provision of the companies act 2013 and rules made there under. Any other statutes and by laws of the company, RBI, FEMA and allied laws.
Desired Candidate Profile:-
- Senior matured and seasoned legal professional required for this role.
- Summarizing key essentials for success in this position:
- Minimum 5+ years of corporate work experience.
- Hands-on exposure to various aspects of corporate law.
- Ability to manage legal matters in various courts in Eastern India.
- Fluency in local language preferable.
- Minimum 5 years- experience as head of legal function with large sized business group.
