Job Location : Mumbai
Job Objective :
- Lead business development and sales operations across the country,
- Expand the customer base, maximize sales revenues across product lines and drive higher margins
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy Development & Business Planning
- Participate in development of business strategy for Bisleri and cascade it to annual and quarterly plans for the Sales vertical focusing on revenue, volume, market share, pricing and expenditure
- Develop the sales and distribution strategy for developing the Sales vertical
- Scan the market for potential new avenues to generate revenue from untapped accounts/market
Financial Management :
- Develop the annual budget for the Sales function; monitor adherence to the same
- Develop a framework to ensure standard credit limits for distributors
- Monitor timely payments and settlements for all high volume deals and set up mechanisms to ensure that there is no blockage
- Monitor performance against sales targets on a regular basis; take proactive action in case of any deviation from targets
- Build sound financial management practices; review all MIS reports and take corrective actions in case of variations
Sales Planning & Operations
- Deploy the Sales strategy including effective segmentation, competitive pricing and effective marketing
- Lead finalization of contracts and prices for the National Corporate Accounts & Modern Trade Accounts with inputs from Director - Sales & Operations
- Coordinate with Regional SCM teams to ensure supply of goods based on bulk orders by coordinating with concerned Regional SCM teams
- Optimize inventory of finished goods by streamlining stock flow from depots to various dispatch points for retail chains and other bulk buyers
- Contribute towards accurate demand forecasting
- Build the required administrative and infrastructural support for servicing
- Monitor performance of outlets / accounts on a regular basis and take corrective action in case of any deviations
BTL Marketing
- Drive BTL Marketing including :
a. Design, creation and deployment of Sales Generating Assets jointly with the Marketing and Sales & Operations team
b. Development of merchandising guidelines for Modern Trade accounts
c. Design, roll-out and ROI analysis of Trade Marketing schemes
- Provide inputs to the Marketing team for all digital marketing initiatives
Operational Excellence
- Plan and roll-out initiatives focusing on Sales Enablement such as Sales Force Automation etc.
People Management
- Finalize the annual manpower plan and budget of the function in consultation with Director - Sales & Operations
- Develop the capabilities to take on higher responsibilities while performing the given/in-charge responsibilities at various levels within the functions
- Ensure adequate training of team to meet the requirements of the role and be able to handle market dynamics.
