Job Location : Mumbai

Job Objective

- Lead the design and implementation of robust HR systems, processes and policies to build a high-performance culture

- Drive the availability of a cost-effective, employee friendly and robust administrative infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Business Planning:

- Understand business strategy for Bisleri and draw implications for the HR & Admin function

- Design and implement interventions across the organization to enable business readiness and continuous employee growth and development

- Coach and advise business leaders on best practices, systems and policies related to people management and oversee execution of the same

- Lead design and development of administrative systems to promote organizational efficiency and safety

Financial Management:

- Develop the annual budget for the HR and Administration function and ensure adherence to the same

- Anchor the annual manpower planning and budgeting process for Bisleri, through effective coordination with other business leaders; monitor adherence to the same

- Identify and drive opportunities to leverage cost-efficiencies in HR and Administration activities through effective cross-functional coordination

- Develop a robust HR accounting and measurement framework to ensure effective testing of the financial viability of HR interventions undertaken

Organization Design:

- Define the principles of Organization Design - i.e., creation of new roles, designing of Organization Structure, Band and Grade Structure

- Guide line managers in defining job roles and undertake staffing in line with principles of Organization Design

- Periodically review the Organization Structure (including role definition, reporting relationships, etc.) and Grade Structure to ensure adherence to principles of Organization Design

Talent Acquisition:

- Design, develop and implement the Talent Acquisition policy across the organization

- Develop the organization as an Employer of Choice through various employer branding initiatives and benchmarking with best practices in the industry

- Participate actively in the recruitment process for the Senior Management positions across the organization and Senior/Middle Management positions within the function; liaise with external third party service providers for the same

- Lead identification, empanelment and performance monitoring of recruitment agencies

- Monitor adherence to SLAs for recruitment and on-boarding and take corrective action in case of any deviations

Performance Management:

- Design, develop and implement the Performance Management System and process across the organization

- Finalize the normalization curve basis annual business performance and rewards strategy, and monitor adherence to the same

- Monitor smooth and timely completion of the Performance Management and promotion process, including grievance management

Rewards:

- Design and review the Rewards strategy for the organization to ensure alignment to business needs

- Monitor adherence to compensation guidelines across the organization - specifically focusing on new hires, promotion or retention cases

Employee related Compliance:

- Collaborate with Manager Legal & Compliance to ensure all compliance related with employees (on roll and in company premises) are adhered

- Review compliance associated with plant operations and local statutes

Capability Building:

- Monitor the design and implementation of training and development interventions aimed at evolving employee capabilities in the organization

Employee Relations:

- Formulate the organization's Industrial Relation strategy and oversee its effective implementation at all units for cordial employee relations

- Build and maintain strong relations with government bodies such as Department of Labor and recruitment vendors, industry peers, forums/HR consulting firms, etc.

- Drive compliance to labour laws and statutory requirements across the organization

- Guide Plant Heads/Branch Managers in managing IR related challenges faced

- Oversee the design and implementation of the various employee engagement initiatives across the organization

Administration:

- Monitor the administrative support activities to increase operational efficiency and attain optimal utilization of various resources

- Identify, onboard and manage the performance of contracting companies for various administration activities

Operational Excellence:

- Drive timely documentation and preparation of all MIS reports; review and analyze variances and take required action

People Management:

- Provide inputs for the annual manpower plan and budget of the function, in consultation with Director - Enablement Functions

- Drive a culture of performance amongst subordinates - set goals, review and manage performance, guide and counsel and provide feedback on performance so as to ensure a motivated and committed team

- Develop the capabilities to take on higher responsibilities while performing the given/in-charge responsibilities at various levels within the functions

- Participate in succession planning and recruitment of critical senior & middle management positions within the function

- Oversee training of teams to meet the requirements of the role
