Birlasoft - AVP - Internal Audit & Enterprise Risk

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the supervision, assessment, and management of Enterprise-wide Risk Management and Internal Audit program

- Responsible for working with the business to identify statutory, regulatory, strategic and operational risks including information tech & security risks, cyber security risks as well as working proactively with Birlasoft senior management teams to help mitigate these risks in the short and longer term, as well advice on process and policies with sustainable solution

- To contribute towards protection of Birlasoft assets, reputation, clients, and sustainability of the organization

Desirable Skills/Experience :

- 15 to 20 years of detailed knowledge of audit, risk and compliance services within the IT-ITeS and/ or BFSI services sector

- Experience in enterprise and Operational Risk Management implementation

- Experience in conceptualizing, developing and managing Internal Audit Program independently - Financial and IT Controls

- Experience in handling third party or client audits primarily in the domains of Information Security & Technology, BCP/DR, Physical Security, HR processes, etc.

- Good understanding of COSO / COBiT / ISO 27001:2013 / NIST or any other information security governance frameworks

- Experience in conducting CXO's and Board / Audit Committee level discussions and excellent presentation skills

- Considerable knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and/or ISACA

- Leadership skills - 8+ years of managing people; project management and teamwork skills

- Proven management, influencing and negotiating skills are a must

- Strong customer service ethos, a commitment to quality and the will to constantly drive service improvements

- Excellent planning, analysis, organizational and judgment skills are essential

- Excellent communications and people management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility in learning new topics, handling change and managing tight deadlines

- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

- Ability to establish credibility with senior management, present a strong argument, maintain a position in the face of disagreement, and influence appropriately

- Think out of the box solutions for complicated problems
