Birla Sunlife - Chief Manager - PR & Corporate Communication (8-11 yrs)
The purpose of this role is to plan, execute and monitor PR campaigns for BSLAMC proactively and reactively (upon external press & media requests) so as to position BSLAMC and its leadership team as industry leaders and role models. To also plan, execute and monitor Internal communication on important company platforms and events. To be the lead within BSLAMC and execute various ABFSG group level PR platforms and ensure our vision of being a broad based and integrated business to the customer is delivered through consistent messaging.
Accountability Supporting Actions
Aligning PR planning and calendar with BSLAMC Marketing & Business strategy and goals
- To align with short term and long term objectives of Business & Marketing.
- To regularly evolve set of agreed key messages for the company and any emerging opportunities with BSLAMC Marketing & ABFSG PR lead.
- To plan, create, update and deliver on annual/quarterly calendar with agreed messaging
Creating strong third party endorsements through strategic use of Public Relations
- In keeping with the ABFSG guidelines, must proactively capitalize on all facets of Public Relations
- Media relations - proactive and reactive
- Positioning platforms for the AMC and its leadership team
- Actively promote the leadership stance of AMC
Strongly positioning the profile for the company and its leadership team in and through the media - as leaders and role models
- To identify newsworthy opportunities from the media and within the company (on company, products, people and other such opportunities)
- Ensure that we capture and communicate powerful and relevant key messages
- To address media queries, satisfactorily, given our chosen media strategy.
- Profiling of the company and its leadership team as thought leaders and champions and voice of the consumer through industry/company/ABFSG/other forums
Engage with the employees in partnership with HR
- To partner HR in its ambition to seek and find opportunities to continuously engage with the employees, regularly, across any and every media/medium
To contribute to building ABFSG strategic PR pillars & platforms
- To co-work with ABFSG PR lead to deliver on common group initiatives
