ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The role is responsible for the entire product lifecycle and commercial success of one or more complex products. S/he will work with cross-functional teams to define the strategy and roadmap for a current or new product; drive the product development; and enable sales and usage of the product. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Create the Product Roadmap : Hands on experience on Digital Transformations projects (Mobile/ Web App Developments) revolutionizing and enriching customer business needs - Extensive knowledge of Digital Marketing/eCommerce/Loyalty Initiatives for various Industries preferably CPG and Retail - Leading the ideation of a "customer-backward" vision of a new or existing product - Uncover and understand business needs and translate them into requirements - Building consensus around the vision across a team of stakeholders, and translating the vision into user stories that enable efficient development Manage the Product Vision : Exposure in building Digital Platforms which are customer and consumer facing (preferred platforms namely SalesForce, Capillary), or Zoho, Qualtrics etc. - Guides the team in applying the principles for UI/ UX design to build wireframes Co-own Release Plans and communicate changes to Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders regularly - Engage closely with engineering and architecture in Agile methodology to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs - Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions. Engage in problem solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes Operations : - Leading sprint planning to ensure appropriate sequencing of user stories to drive impact quickly - Joining daily scrum meetings to address any queries from developers and to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of each release - Technical effort management, task decomposition, and risk management in an agile environment - Partner with Customer Support teams in solving pain points for our users - Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries - Harnessing the Customer Voice Through Market Research - Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making - Defining success criteria for the product (e.g., usage target, satisfaction points) QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET : Basic Qualifications : - Candidate should have at least 6 to 8 years of working experience in Product Management with an excellent record of accomplishment in delivering on time and on budget - Minimum 2-3 years in managing eCommerce/ Digital Marketing/Loyalty based projects - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, MBA or equivalent from premier institute Skill Set : - Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products - Hands-on experience on Mobile (Android, iOS) &amp; Web Apps Development with good knowledge on RESTful APIs - Proven ability to lead and influence others including developers, business owners and senior tech and business leaders - Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders - Working knowledge on SFDC platform and its architecture - Scrum certification a major plus
