Job Title: Manager/Sr. Manager-Demand and Network Planning Role: This position will be responsible for the implementation & running of Network planning, Production & Distribution planning tool in the system. In addition to it, he will work with Sales team & Supply team to define and maintain the inventory norms across all storage locations to ensure the agreed service level within defined cost parameters . Further he will facilitate the demand review process with cross functional groups across all Bira91 brands. The candidate will use data gathered from Sales/distribution to develop meaningful analysis and recommendations to support business decisions. The candidate will work closely with the sales and supply teams to ensure proper supply is available to support market demand. What You'll Do - Implementation & running of Network planning / Production and Distribution planning tools - Define / align and monitor inventory levels across the storage locations as per the agreed service levels - Running various possible scenarios in the tool to come up with the following outputs. a) optimum utilization of capacities. b) Cost to serve. c) Maximize the service level - Utilize internal and external sources to gather business performance data. - Interact with Sales and supply teams to understand forecast drivers. - Apply techniques to evaluate forecasts, validate data and improve forecasting and distribution plans. - Monitor and reconcile variances against forecasts. - Identify products performing outside of expected trends and conduct additional analysis to help identify reason(s) for variance. - Create and manage comparison reports to track forecast and supply performance over time. - Provide support to key business partners (Finance, Operations, Brand, Sales) regarding volume planning scenarios. - Provide reporting on actual performance vs projection. - Drive alignment between top-down and bottoms-up forecasts and distribution numbers. - Work closely with Supply Planning to understand constraints or other issues, escalating forecast changes timely and appropriately. - Work closely with production team to ensure proper inventory and order coverage on products. - Develop trackers/ dashboards for capturing and sharing key KPIs such as OTIF, DOH ( FG inventory), Plan adherence, aligned availability and expiries at plants/ other storage locations . Educational Qualification - B.Tech/B.E, MBA with 3+ years of experience in handling Sales & sales planning function for manufacturing /Procurement /Supply chain in FMCG or Liquor industry. - Exposure to ERP / planning tool is must. - Should have excellent presentation and excel skills .
