BIRA 91 - Manager - Demand Planning (3-7 yrs)
- Drive execution of Collaborative Demand Planning process at cluster/depot/account level to maximize customer service
- Create statistical forecast for short, mid and long term. Facilitate generation and dynamic review of consensual sales forecast by ensuring participation from Division Sales Managers and all other key stakeholders
- Engage with other functions to enable the use of external data into the Demand Planning process (e.g. Point of Sale, Consumption, Customer Inventory, Industry trends etc.)
- Define inventory norms for each demand node, minimize stock-out situations
- Responsible for reduction of slow-moving inventory & follow up with brand / sales for timely liquidation
- Collaborate & provide continuous feedback to Supply Planning team on dynamic changes in demand, promotion plans, trade incentives etc. to enable change in supply plan
- Lead the S&OP Process & ensure 100% adherence to the process
- Implement new processes and systems tools related to demand planning
- Improve sales efficiency by improving forecasting capability through analysis, continuous monitoring and providing feedback to the stakeholders
- Challenge assumptions and enhance the demand planning process
- Prepare MIS for weekly and monthly meeting with Supply, Sales and Marketing team
- Drive the complexity reduction & SKU Rationalization agenda
