SUMMARY OF THE POSITION This role is very critical for the organization which sets strong foundation for the business in digital transformation journey of its manufacturing Plants. This role takes the end-to-end ownership as a Industrial Automation Lead in driving and delivering the automation of all manufacturing processes in the Plant through integrated landscape of Industrial control systems - PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES and ERP to achieve high performance, efficiency, prevention of losses, high transparency, and desired quality. This role is Single Point of Contact and primarily engages with Manufacturing &amp; Supply Chain teams, Industrial Control Systems partners, Information systems team to achieve the digitization roadmap for all the manufacturing Plant which is date-centric and business outcome based. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : - Work with key stakeholders to come up with strategic roadmap for digitization of manufacturing plants. - Drive Project implementation which includes scoping, process documentation, business requirements in alignment with IS teams, Coordinate with IS and Partners on development, drive user acceptance testing, training and go live of Industrial control systems integrated with ERP systems - SAP. - Drive business improvement critical enhancements in existing systems, Set up of risk and control monitoring systems. - Identify and deliver Reports and dashboards to stakeholders for analysis and decision making. - Establish Operational excellence - Collaborate with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff. - Liaison with stakeholders, Partners, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities - Project management within cost and time-constrained environments - Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards - Providing advice and consultancy support - Collaborate with Procurement on purchasing equipment's. - Developing new business proposals - Identify scope and specifications of equipment for standard and interim processes. - Work with the Site E&amp;I Manager and Category Project Manager to obtain alignment at each site on common and site- specific scope. - Onboard Contract Engineers and Designers, as required. - Establish and issue PC&amp;IS EI procedures. - Manage funding and delivery of PC&amp;IS and Utility Projects. - Deliver Process controls and instrumentation Projects. - Identify industry partners, and new vendors to build a vendor database for IOT solutions. QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET: - 10-15 years of relevant experience in implementation of manufacturing automation of Control systems PLC, MEC, SCADA integrating with ERP system in Beverages / Health care Industry. - Proven experience of delivery of Risk proof solutions for manufacturing Plants &amp; Warehouses. - Proven experience of delivering reports and dashboards for business to improve efficiency and reduce losses with data obtained from Control systems and ERP. - Hands on functional experience of Industrial control systems - PLC, SCADA, MES, ERP at Plant level. - Understanding and experience of digital transformation - internet of things, connected systems, cyber security as per Industry 4.0. - Experience of writing Use Cases, Business Scenarios, business process documentation and SOPs - Specific degrees in control and instrumentation engineering/Electrical and electronic engineering - Excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy - Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong data- oriented approach - Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects. - High level of attention to detail - Excellent customer care skills and good commercial awareness - Understanding and knowledge of Network, hardware and software.
