Assistant Manager - MarCom Procurement and Services The role will primarily be responsible for indirect procurement of material and services for the Marketing department. The following are the high-level responsibilities: - Execute purchase of requisite material and services in a time-bound and cost-effective manner - Ensure vendor adherence to defined SLAs Detailed roles and responsibilities Marketing procurement planning and execution - Drive marketing related sourcing of standard POS material and services - Demonstrate subject matter expertise on sourcing of a broad spectrum of POS material and services - Understand of marketing strategy as well as it roll-out plan, subsequently translating them into actionable sourcing initiatives - Cross-functional collaboration with various internal stakeholders across the boards (Finance, Marketing, Sales) to implement the defined marketing plan Process Improvement - Continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices incorporating relevant best practices - Develop and implement SOPs to ensure an efficient and cost-effective POS material procurement process Vendor development and management - Development of vendor base capable to meet the business requirements across the broad spectrum of POS materials as per required time-lines and quality standards - Tracking of service level adherence KPI tracking - Tracking of actual cost-to-serve vis-vis budgeted cost-to-serve - Monitor and track reports and category spend analysis Accounting - Monthly provisioning of bills submitted by vendors - Monitor tracking of PR to PO to Payment time-lines to ensure timely processing of bills submitted by vendors Competencies - Understanding of POS material categories and their technical specifications - Excellent communicator - Accomplished negotiator and able to construct and manage complex, sophisticated arrangements - Takes ownership of the activities & ensure successful completion of the same - Assertive, Persuasive and Analytical Education and Experience: - Undergraduate/Postgraduate business-related degree - 5+ year's procurement experience with at least 3 years in marketing procurement - Indirect Procurement Experience in marketing procurement is a must - SAP experience is desirable. - Strong competency in MS Excel skills
