Job Overview:

- Bioqube is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in India.


- In this role, you will oversee financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights that will drive the company's continued growth.


- The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks while ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards.

- General Ledger: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled accurately.

- Provide insights through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.

- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Develop financial models to guide business decisions.

- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits.

- Support decision-making with timely financial insights.

- Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue, maintain documentation and controls around revenue streams, ensuring alignment with company growth strategies and scalability.

- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Indian Tax laws, including GST, Income tax, TDS and other statutory requirements.

- Cost Control: Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee timely payment of vendors and collections from customers while maintaining accurate records of transactions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA).

- Experience: At least 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a technology or SaaS-based company.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Advanced

- Excel skills for financial modelling and reporting.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and local tax regulations.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and provide strategic insights to management.

- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with financial planning and budgeting.

- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

- Experience working in a fast-growing technology company or start-up environment.

- Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
