Biocon - Senior Manager - SAP HCM Consultant (8-14 yrs)

Job Purpose:

The key purpose for hiring this candidate is to ensure that all the activities pertaining to the SAP-HCM module are handled from a technical and functional standpoint, wherein the incumbent would not only be the SPOC for the module, lead the module in terms of application development, process re-engineering, internal stakeholder management etc and also to ensure that user needs are consistently met.

Tasks:

- Ensuring that internal business teams and users are provided with timely updates on any new changes or developments within the module

- Serve as the SPOC for process owners and other users of the system.

- Coordinate between the SAP technical team(s) and the users of the HCM module.

- Guide and lead the training of the users of the HCM module to ensure that they in turn train the end users of the module.

- Develop business process improvement plans in line with the management's needs.

- Serve as a conduit of information where there are technical challenges and dilemmas faced by the SAP technical team and the end users.

- Test the system and suggest and / or define more innovative solutions when business processes need to be made more robust.

- Troubleshooting at a high level as many issues as possible so that only core technical challenges are brought to the SAP team for resolution.

- Liaison where required between process owners and SAP team(s) to ensure that their issues are resolved and / or checked from time to time.

- Prepare processes, reports and presentations of the defined BBP processes and have them discussed with the process owners from time to time, especially when the company evolves.

Key Responsibilities

- Management of SAP HCM module in AD and AM services.

- Working with process owners, end users and the SAP team(s).

- Coordinate to ensure that the URS and BBP documents are documented and managed.

- Provide internal training and support to end users from time to time.

- Master Data Governance and system management

- Test Management of HCM processes

- Ensure that change management in HCM as per defined process.

- Work closely with the SAP-BASIS team to ensure that appropriate authorizations and roles are assigned to users.

- Work on the licensing of users and aim to control excessive license issue.

- Management of all WRICEFs, batch processes etc; related to SAP HCM.

- To focus on collaborative environment for ensuring that technical challenges and business needs are resolved and met, respectively.

- Business processes are re-engineered so that the system's performance gets optimized.

Requirements

- Post Graduate / MBA / PG Diploma in relevant subject

- More than 10 years of experience in HR functions and solutions; out of which at least 6 years should be in SAP HCM implementations

- Have hands on experience in various SAP HCM sub modules like OM, PA, TM, PY, ESS / MSS e-modules etc. and interface requirements

- Experienced in integration of HCM module with various other SAP modules like FI, CO, MM, PM, PS etc.

- Minimum 3 end to end HCM implementation experience; preferably in manufacturing sector.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Demonstrated leadership qualities; good team player as well as focused individual achiever
