Biocon - Associate Director - Business Analytics/Performance Management - Pharma/Life Science

Description:

- Part of the Global Key Accounts team for Advanced Markets

- Would report to the Head of Key Accounts

- Role would have direct reports

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop sophisticated forecasting models for the accounts under the team's management

- Participate in joint commercial committees with key partners and collaborate for developing business cases and driving business decisions

- Track business performance of key accounts against forecasts and pro-actively identify challenges or gaps

- Work with the competitive intelligence teams to provide market intelligence analytics for current and future products in the portfolios of the key accounts

- Liaise with the BD teams and Portfolio teams to provide sophisticated forecasting and business case analytical support for new molecule evaluation

- Provide the commercial overview for the portfolio during the quarterly and monthly business reviews with senior management

- Develop 5-year strategic plans and annual budgets for the portfolio in collaboration with the Operations Strategy team, Finance, and Supply Chain Management

Background & Skills:

- Background in business analytics and forecasting

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

- Experience in Pharma/ Biotech - industry or management consulting - preferred

- MBA from a top tier B-school

- Ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally

- Self-motivated and willing to go beyond the comfort zone
