Job Description :

- Handling direct tax compliance, including transfer pricing for the company and its overseas group companies

- Assist in representation before income tax authorities (including Appellate levels) for scrutiny assessment and transfer pricing assessment

- Collaborate inter-departmental & intra-department for completion of tax provisioning, quarter closure, obtaining information, bench marking the transactions with Most appropriate method within prescribed rules.

- Analyze Double Tax Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs) for foreign remittances and advising on tax implications pertaining to articles including royalties, fees for technical services, permanent establishment (PE), independent services, along with applicable Protocols.

- Drafting, reviewing and assist with filing appeals proceedings before Commissioner of Appeals (CIT(A)) and Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).

- Involve in briefing sessions with the team before Counsels for tax disputes at appellate level.

- Ensured timely and tax efficient return filing for the companies with relevant forms

- Prepare quarterly advance tax computations and ensured that payments are made within due dates.

- Updating the team on relevant case laws and amendments in direct tax laws for circulation with tax and accounts team.

- Assist team with ETR analysis, and other planning opportunities

Education : Chartered Accountant with 1 to 2 Years work history
