Head HR - Manufacturing Plant
The company is looking for the right leader as Unit - HR Head for its Bhigwan Plant (Bilt Graphic Paper Products Limited, BGPPL) in Bhigwan near Pune (Maharashtra). The total employee strength of this unit which consists of Management Staff, Workmen, Clerical, Casual, and Contract Labour is around 1500 employees. The incumbent will be responsible for steering and implementing industrial relation policies and unit HR function in order to maintain productivity, industrial peace, and harmony.
Qualification : MBA in HR/M.S.W. (Labour Welfare and Personnel Management). Degree in Law would be added advantages. IR Proficiency & HR sufficiency, Administrative expert with budgetary cost control, Leadership acumen and change management skills, interpersonal / networking skills with employees, labour authorities and other allied government functionaries. Proficiency in Marathi is a must.
- Act as HR advisor for the Unit management team on crucial people issues.
- Develop cordial relations with employees, union, community, and Govt. authorities for industrial peace and harmony.
- Build a culture of achievement, excellence, creating a learning environment, and vibrancy.
- Develop and implement employee welfare, communication, and administrative services in an effective manner.
- Ensure all HR systems and processes are adhered to and completed in a timely and transparent manner to establish credibility and contributions
- Develop HR Plans and strategy with the unit aligned with manufacturing objectives and corporate direction.
- Increase productivity of the plant by skill development, soft skills training, and creating a very conducive environment for performance.
- Labour settlement reaping beneficial outcomes to the organization.
- Contract labour management.
- Managing the entire gamut of admin services including medical, estate, security, housekeeping etc. in a cost-effective manner ensuring delight to our internal customers.
- CSR activities around the plant for neighborhood management and community development.
- Ensure all HR systems and processes are adhered to and completed in a timely and transparent manner to establish credibility and contribution.
- Ensure speed, responsiveness, and customer orientation in transaction management and services.
