Qualified CA - For Tax and regulatory services

Your job responsibilities will be :

1. Tax & transfer pricing :

- Preparing and filing income tax returns

- Advising clients on direct tax and international tax and transfer pricing

- Conducting benchmarking studies, issue of transfer pricing reports and filing statutory forms

- Assisting the clients with compliance, assessments, litigation etc.,

- Tax valuations and certification

- Private equity tax ; Advisory and compliance services for private equity clients as well as fund structuring and implementation

2. Due diligence : Conducting financial and tax due to diligence on the buy-side and sell-side

3. Tax and regulatory structuring advisory and implementation and due diligence :

- M&A and investment/divestment transactions (mergers, demergers, slump sale, share transfers etc., )

- Private equity transactions

- Inbound and outbound transactions

- Business reorganization

- Wealth and estate planning

- The above shall include conceptualization of the transaction structure, preparation of schemes/transaction documents, valuations, running NCLT schemes overall coordination including with senior counsel, set-up of
entities etc.,)

4. Overall :

- Business development and preparation of pitch presentations. Carrying out extensive research on potential clients

- The role involves the applicability of tax and regulatory laws (Income-tax Act, International Tax Companies Act, Competition Act, SEBI, FEMA, Securities Laws, Insolvency Laws, Stamp Duty etc.,)

- Reporting to Assistant Manager

Eligibility criteria :

- A strong passion and interest for tax and regulatory aspects.

- 0 to 2 years' experience in Tax and regulatory practice (relevant articles experience also counted)

- Assignments involving significant technical research

- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel

- Good communication skills including legal/technical reading and drafting
