Role Summary:
The AVP - Business Strategy, Operations & Executive Assistance will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing comprehensive support across business strategy formulation, operational excellence, and executive assistance. This role ensures seamless coordination between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations while managing executive priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Governance:
- Drive strategic planning processes and monitor execution of key initiatives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and provide actionable insights.
- Support leadership in decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Align Annual Operating Cycle (AoC) with long-term objectives and ensure timely execution.
Operations Oversight:
- Oversee operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs aligned with organizational goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements for operational excellence.
Executive Assistance:
- Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for leadership meetings.
- Act as a liaison between executives and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Performance Monitoring & Governance:
- Develop dashboards and MIS for tracking performance against strategic and operational goals.
- Facilitate governance mechanisms to drive accountability and alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business heads, finance, operations, and other functions to ensure strategic alignment.
- Support communication of strategic priorities across the organization.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within strategy and operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting business.
Qualifications & Skills
- BE Mechanical plus Masters degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 12 to 15+ years of experience in strategy, operations, and executive support roles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
