Position Summary

- Delivery of simplified Asset Products (Lending) to mass market customers through efficient, convenient and compliant process at customers doorstep will be the key responsibility of job holder.

- Incumbent will play role of subject matter expert and thought leader for the product and will lead initiatives for identifying customer segments, proposing products and revamping process for efficient product delivery.

- A keen observer and learner in digital lending and fintech domain with attitude of challenging status quo for consistent improvement and innovation

- Role holder will also be accountable for ensuring high level of product governance from regulatory and compliance aspects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Product innovation:

- Identifying and developing lending propositions designed to differentiate target customer segment and needs

- Identifying opportunities for increasing market share and identifying new markets

- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders for delivering envisaged solution

- Acting as specialist for mass market lending

- Ensuring products meet required risk, regulatory and legal standards

- Creating product approval proposal covering customer proposition, volumes, profitability, technology and risks

Product Management:

- Reviewing existing products against all KPI's and suggesting changes for improvement

- Monitoring process and suggesting changes for improving efficiencies

- Ensuring product profitability

- Reviewing and approving all product related changes

- Reviewing customer communication and ensuring ease of understanding and transparency

- Supporting cross functional teams in creating training modules, customer communication scripts

- Managing business efficiencies and portfolio health

Competition/industry benchmarking:

- Create monthly reports on industry performance and IBL market penetration/share

- Map competition and understand new products/process launched and share recommendations/implications

- Keenly observe regulatory landscape and actively participate in industry discussions with attempt to influence change

Digital initiatives:

- Understand new technology platforms and use for delivering value for customer and organization

- Ideate changes that can help in improving product delivery and efficiency and propose for implementation after consultation with cross functions

- Actively work as change agent for ensuring that organization maintains position of leadership in innovation and early adoption of technology

Qualification and Skills

- Postgraduate/Engineer with minimum 14 years of experience in Assets Product Management with Fintech/Bank/Financial Service/NBFC

- Deep understanding of technology in asset domain for mass market segment

- Strong strategic vision and execution focus

- In-depth understanding of products and process offered to customers

- In-depth understanding of competitive landscape

- Understanding of financial models and product P&L

- Ability to identify, mitigate and manage business risk and controls

- Understanding of regulatory framework and policies
