About the Role:.

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Repayments & Collections vertical, responsible for managing large-scale debt recovery operations, especially in high-value portfolios (> 100 Cr).

The ideal candidate brings expertise in managing repayments, implementing robust collection processes, and handling high-pressure negotiations preferably in industries involving.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Lead and Own the entire repayment and collection process across portfolios.

- Handle large-scale business loans.

- Build, implement, and optimize a robust repayment and collections framework.

- Manage complex, high-stakes conversations and disputes with clients especially movie producers or large borrowers.

- Work closely with internal legal teams and advisors to manage defaults, restructuring, or recovery suits.

- Analyse risk, identify early warning signs, and take proactive action on overdue accounts.

- Collaborate with business and credit teams to design repayment terms and align collection strategies with business goals.

- Drive and track collection efficiency, success rates, and repayment timelines.

Must-Haves:.

- 8+ years in collections, repayments, or debt recovery, with proven experience handling high-value portfolios (100 Cr+).

- Prior experience in NBFCs, business lending, or structured loans.

- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills to handle intense negotiations and disputes.

- Proven ability to design and implement repayment processes and SOPs.

- Basic understanding of legal frameworks around recoveries, restructuring, or arbitration.

- Willingness to work out of Chennai and engage frequently with borrowers and internal stakeholders.
