Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of benefits consultant. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and to apply for the position. Responsibilities for benefits consultant :

- Interfaces directly with Managers, Human Resource Business Partners, Health Services, and Corporate Legal regarding problems, solutions and clarifications of ongoing benefits administration as necessary

- Gain experience in both Group Benefits and Group Retirement

- Manages client's vendor relationships

- Supports new business development effort as requested

- On-boards new clients

- Knows industry jargon and has the ability to articulate to clients

- Attends team and vendor meetings

- Follows up on requests with carriers

- Manages day-to-day service issues with client

- Knowledge and active use of the EPIC system

Qualifications for benefits consultant :

- Knowledge of the Living Benefit market & MGA model an asset

- Provide customer service to all existing clients

- Provides regular updates to leadership on status and ensures all inquiries

- Benefits Administration - Understanding of the administration, recordkeeping and operational aspects of leave of absence policies across U.S. states

- Develop employee benefit plan/program communication strategies

- Answer compliance questions (with the help of National Legal Resource Group) and plan interpretation questions (conference calls, meetings)

The Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of experience developing rewards and benefit projects, 2-3 years of which must have worked in a consulting firm, developing rewards and benefits projects.

- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, administration or similar degress.

- Job valuation, knowledge about an international methodology.

- Experience developing compensation and benefits surveys.

- Designing salary structures.

- Good communication and personal skills is vital. The role will be building a good relationships with clients.

- Results oriented and ability to work under pressure.

- Competence in MS Office, with solid knowledge of excel- s database.

- Fluent in English.
