Benefits Analyst - IT Product Firm - APAC/India (8-12 yrs)
Benefits Analyst - APAC and INDIA region
- Assure adherence to company benefit strategy, policy and governance, and ensure programs comply with regulations, laws and employment standards
- Manage & review APAC and India benefit renewals and any new plan proposals through Corporate approval process; oversee retirement plans in the region; day-to-day plan management and collaborate with regional HR Business Partners ("HRBP")
- Manage annual process for retirement plans and fund allocation to vendor, as applicable
- Manage (regional) Service Award program and liaise with Payroll on employee tax
- Oversight of various leave & paid time off programs, along with annual review of public holiday calendars
- Review quarterly & annual budget forecasts with Finance team
- Explains employee benefits by conducting meetings (if and when necessary); responding to day-to-day questions & requests from employees
- Procurement and invoice management for all benefit related services. Liaison with Financial Controller for cost allocation as applicable
- Ensure benefit summaries & forms are kept up to date and posted on company portal
- As needed, work with vendor / broker to keep benefit database (with Mercer) updated
- Support internal and external audits (e.g. Insurance, Pension and Benefit program audit)
- General reporting activities on various internal and external topics
- Partner with HRBP on benefits related activities for Singapore collective agreement
- Involved in Multinational pooling strategy and refund activities
- When necessary, determines employee benefit practices by benchmarking best practices; researching industry and employment trends; participate in annual benefit surveys
